Wedding Tips: Bridal Shower Ideas: Games

Bridal showers traditionally can be a little boring. Of course everyone is excited for the bride (and her partner), but for the most part, the shower will consist of eating brunch and watching her open her gifts. Not exactly the most interesting event. Luckily there have been many cute ideas recently to try and make this event a little more fun for guests.

Guess her age:
Her mom and friends will put a few pictures of her on a poster and guests can guess how old she was in each picture. Guest to guess most pictures correctly can win a prize.

Bring a recipe card:
Ask guests to bring an index card with their favorite recipe on it.

Bridal Mad Libs:
Write out a story from the couple's history and take out a few words so guests can fill in their own. Read and give a prize to the best one.

Who knows the bride the best:
This is a list of questions for the guests: what's her favorite color, fav movie, etc. The guest to guess the most correctly can win a prize.

He Said/She Said:
This is a list of quotes the couple has said and guests can guess who said what. The guest to guess the most correct can win a prize.

Bridal Showers, much like weddings, don't have to be stiff and boring events. This is a very exciting time in a persons life, why not have a great time celebrating every step of the way?
